Ian Marsh
Ian Marsh practiced law for more than 30 years, and was a partner with law firms in London and New York for 16 years, before founding Family Dispute Resolution Limited – familydr – in June 2006.
Through familydr, Ian:
- Facilitates family discussions, particularly in relation to governance and succession matters, and the negotiation of prenuptial/CP agreements;
- Consults on the design and implementation of conflict management and dispute resolution procedures;
- Conciliates family conflicts; and
- Mediates disputes over family wealth, including trust, will and succession disputes, marriage/CP breakdown, and disputes over family businesses.
Ian Is Member Of:
- The International Bar Association;
- The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators;
- The Association of Contentious Trust & Probate Specialists;
- The Family Mediators’ Association;
- The Chartered Institute of Taxation; and
- The Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners.
He was appointed to the English Law Society’s Alternative Resolution Committee in May 2007.
Ian is accredited as a civil and commercial mediator by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is governed as a family mediator by the Family Mediators’ Association.
