Career Summary

A graduate Chartered Accountant, Andrew commenced his professional career with one of the 'big four'. His work gave him exposure to high profile national and international companies, dealing principally with audits investigations and business advice.

Subsequent career moves within the profession gave him considerable experience of advising small and medium size businesses.

As an expert witness in numerous court cases and planning enquiries with their adversarial nature, he became a passionate advocate of mediated settlements.

In 2003, Andrew retired from professional practice and now works solely as a commercial and family mediator.

Over 20 years in practice has given him considerable experience of business and legal issues over a number of different fields; for example:

Mediation Experience

With nearly 100 mediations conducted, Andrew is now a member of the 'Panel of Approved Appointees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is also on the 'Panel of Experienced Mediators' of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Andrew's experience covers a wide range of disputes but the majority of his cases - both commercial and family involve issues where there are complex financial and tax issues.
